About Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Association

Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Association is a Kaohsiung-based NGO fostering partnerships between industries, universities, and governments across Taiwan and Southeast Asia. The organization champions cross-cultural collaboration and innovation in education, offering exchange programs, training initiatives, and strategic networking opportunities. With a mission to drive sustainable regional development, Edu-Connect serves as a bridge that connects institutions and leaders, inspiring transformative governance and fostering mutual growth.

Co-Founder and Program Manager

Caren Claire Avenido is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and community development, contributing her expertise as a key member of the Bayanihan Lab Network under Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Association. With a strong background in project management and policy research, Caren plays an integral role in designing innovative programs that empower local governments and inspire collaborative solutions. Her commitment to fostering partnerships and driving meaningful change is at the heart of the network’s mission to build sustainable futures. She’s currently a graduate student and researcher at the UP National College of Public Administration and Governance major in Public Policy.

DEXTER LLOYD SULARTE

Co-Founder and Program Manager

Dexter Lloyd Sularte is a dynamic program coordinator at Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Association and a driving force behind the Bayanihan Lab Network. With a strong foundation in public administration and a passion for local government empowerment, Dexter brings fresh ideas and strategic vision to initiatives that bridge Philippines and Taiwan. Through the Bayanihan Lab Network, he works to create impactful partnerships, empower leaders, and inspire collective action for sustainable development while pursuing graduate studies at the UP National College of Public Administration and Governance majoring in Local Governance and Regional Admnistration.

RODOLFO EMPERADO

Co-Founder and Program Manager

Rodolfo Emperado is a dedicated leader and community builder at the Bayanihan Lab Network, a pioneering initiative of Edu-Connect Southeast Asia Association. Known for his strategic approach to collaboration and his deep understanding of local governance, cultural economy, and tourism, Rodolfo bridges diverse stakeholders to create impactful, sustainable solutions. His efforts focus on promoting inclusivity, innovation, and shared responsibility, embodying the spirit of Bayanihan in addressing today’s most pressing challenges. He currently pursues his graduate studies at the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT).
