Gen Z Takes the Lead on PH-TW Transnational Entrepreneurship at KMU
On October 10th, Taiwan's National Day, the Bayanihan Lab Network (BLN) spoke on a key panel at the International University Social Responsibility (iUSR) conference at Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU)!
BLN co-founders Dexter Lloyd Sularte and Rodolfo Emperado, with young CEOs Lee Bing-Heng (迎蜂 ing stingless bee.) and Lee Guan Han (Nanafu Ltd.), powered the discussion: "Transnational Startups and Community Collaboration with Youth Organizations."
The speakers encourage Filipino and Taiwanese youth to actively navigate their geographic proximity and explore each’s demographic strengths to leverage existing resources and generate new growth. The panel emphasized Gen Z's critical role in entrepreneurship, analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of both economies, and pointed out shared growth paths for sustainable development.
BLN demonstrated this through its CLT-CLT and ICUE framework. We shared how we facilitate capacity development, academic, and cultural exchanges to strengthen cross-border ties and promote good governance. Through our Cityscape Classroom Program, BLN organized and sponsored two cohorts of youth leaders from the government, civil society, and private sectors, equipping them to co-create and collaborate for nation-building.
